Child and Youth Mental Health
The Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) Team provides confidential therapeutic services to children and young people impacted by various measures of intergenerational trauma. From June to September 2022, we supported 27 children and youth with mental health services. Scw’exmx Child and Family Services Society’s Child and Youth Mental Health provides culturally grounded confidential, free outreach services for Indigenous children, youth and families, both on and off reserve, who may be experiencing difficulties with thoughts, feelings or behaviors.
Scw'exmx Child and Family Services Society works closely with the community to provide services, workshops and information which enhance the relationships and wellness of children and families who are experiencing significant challenges.
