MEDIA & EVENTS
We believe that it is everyone’s job to keep our children safe, strong and healthy.
We do all that we can to help children be happy, healthy and maintain a connection to culture, family and community.
Family Group Conference (FGC)
FGC is where we can gather with extended family to talk about the concerns we have for their child
Family Support Services
The right support can make all the difference to families who have opened their home and heart to children in need.
All children need loving support and some one to nurture them. Sometimes families are overcome by their circumstances and need temporary or long-term care for their children.
Feel the Beat
A safe place where children, youth and families can come together on any given night and learn about Nlaka’pamux or Sylix culture.
These services provide a wide range of community-based specialized mental health services to mentally ill children and their families.
Kinship care offers both stability and continuity for the child until the child can return to the parent’s care.
Culturally intensive support services for children, youth and families around the Nicola Valley
Our Cultural Youth Support Program offers culturally grounded support services to Aboriginal youth residing on or off reserve in the Nicola Valley.
Our main goal for all children who come into care is to see them safe and happy as part of a family.
